Pricing

Pricing and engagement models

Three ways to work with us, what each costs, what is included, and how we keep the number from moving after you sign.

  • Fixed scope, time and materials, or dedicated team
  • Milestone payments
  • No hidden costs

Software pricing goes wrong in two ways: a quote so low that the scope quietly shrinks, or a day rate with no ceiling. We avoid both by starting every project with a short, paid discovery sprint that produces a bounded scope, and then pricing that scope in whichever model fits how clear it is. The ranges below are indicative; the proposal you receive after discovery is the number.

Three engagement models

Fixed scope

A defined release, a fixed price and a fixed timeline. Best when the scope is clear after discovery and you want cost certainty. Paid by milestone.

  • Discovery sprint first, always
  • Scope, price and dates in one document
  • Change requests priced separately, in writing
  • Two-week cycles with a demo at the end of each

Time and materials

A team at an agreed monthly rate, working through a backlog you prioritise. Best for evolving products and work that is hard to bound.

  • Monthly invoice against hours logged
  • A ceiling you set, with alerts before it is reached
  • Scale the team up or down month by month
  • Same leads, same demos, same rituals

Dedicated developers

Named engineers who join your team full time, in your tools and process. Best when you have product leadership and need hands.

  • 160 hours per engineer per month
  • Three-month minimum, then month to month
  • Senior lead reviews the work; replacement guaranteed
  • White-label available for agencies

Indicative ranges

Prices before GST. Bihar prices are Bihar Udaan prices for companies registered in Bihar; outside India is invoiced in US dollars without GST. Every project is priced individually; the app cost calculator gives you an itemized estimate of your own.

What is always included

  • A senior lead who scoped the work and reviews every pull request.
  • Your repository, your cloud, your accounts from the first commit, with infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
  • Weekly written updates and a demo every two weeks of working software.
  • Design in Figma with a clickable prototype before engineering starts on anything user-facing.
  • Testing, documentation and handover, so the next team, in-house or not, can pick the product up.
  • NDA, IP assignment and a services agreement before any work begins.

What moves the price

Platforms: one web app is cheaper than web plus two native apps. Features that touch money, identity or regulation (payments, KYC, health data) cost more because they have to be right. Integrations with systems that have poor documentation cost more than their size suggests. Custom design and motion cost more than a clean, systematic interface. A compressed timeline costs more because it needs a bigger team.

Third-party costs, such as cloud hosting, app store accounts, SMS and email providers, maps and AI model usage, are paid by you directly in your own accounts, at cost, with no margin from us.

Invoicing and payment

Indian clients receive GST invoices from Eleven Apps Studio Private Limited. Clients abroad are invoiced in US dollars (or GBP, EUR, AED or AUD on request) without GST, as an export of services under a Letter of Undertaking (LUT). Fixed-scope projects are paid by milestone, usually a deposit on signing and the balance in two or three stages tied to demos. Dedicated teams and time-and-materials work are invoiced monthly.

Pricing questions

Because it is real work: a week of workshops, research and architecture that produces the scope and the estimate. It is priced low, and if you take the project elsewhere you keep everything it produced.

On a fixed-scope project, a change is written up with its cost and effect on the date, and nothing is built until you approve it. On time and materials, you reprioritise the backlog and the monthly rate does not change.

No. We keep the relationship simple: you pay for the work, you own the result.

A discovery sprint is the smallest engagement. Builds below the MVP range are usually better served by a dedicated developer for a month or two.

They are indicative, drawn from recent work, and the proposal after discovery is the price. If your budget is below the range, say so early and we will tell you what fits inside it.
